Every OEM has dashboards. Far fewer have the proficiency to act on what they show, and fewer still have built that proficiency into a function that outlasts whoever currently runs the reports. Those are three different things, and confusing them is where most network analytics investments stall.
A dealer network analytics function is the standing combination of integrated data, market potential benchmarks, predictive models, and decision workflows that lets an OEM turn dealer data into action repeatably. What is the difference between a dashboard, proficiency, and an analytics function?
A dashboard is a display layer. It visualizes data that already exists, usually as internal comparisons and trend lines. It is useful, but passive.
